Why did Coquelin go off?
I did not watch the first half, but I was reading the comments on the live match thread. People were saying one of the few impressive players in that half was Coquelin! So when he came off in the second half I was kind of bemused, especially after 55 mins
In the end, the decision was a bad one, as Rambo and Mikel were just poor when it came to holding on to the ball and losing. Either that or Fulham were just amazing at harrying and tackling.
Can't but help feel Coquelin gives us that youthfulness and agression, which when is in our midfield, actually ups our tempo without, and consequently with the ball.
I really think whilst we are without Diaby and Rosicky, whilst Jack returns to fitness and form, and whilst Arteta is off form, one of Coquelin or Frimpong should be in the team

This puzzled me too - we looked much more open when he came off and Ramsey was on somewhat of a suicide mission.

Coquelin was reasonable, let's not get carried away though. He's been pretty poor when he's been called upon this season in truth. Not the performances you'd want/expect from a guy publically making noises that he'll leave if he's not starting games!
Arteta had an off day yesterday. I've said it a thousand times, there's not one player in the Arsenal squad at a proven level who you would say is a 'natural ballwinner' in the midfield. That baffles me!
