SPL and Celtic

Now didn't see the game but just spoke to Jungle who said. Again we were poor today, well done to Watt for his goal but again a shocking result in the SPL,

I know we are missing players but come on Bhoys FFS this is not good enough droping to many points at home and questions need to be asked do we want to win the league FFS

Aberdeen away next so god knows what will happen thier but one thing is for sure this is far from good enough

My point exactly we beat Barca at home but struggle against St Johnstone, now you said if we don't beat Aberdeen next week then you may start to get worried, we are playing out of this world in Europe but in our own league we just don't turn up

Why because we think there is no competition so we come back to The Rangers like it or not you need your biggest rivals and that's what Rangers are

Super Ally

Irrelevant imo.

We'll win the league, we'll have good games and bad games along the way but as long as we are doing the bizzo in europe, be that last 16 or europa, the SPL plys second fiddle in my outlook.

Hec - I just dont expect to see performances dropping like this! You then have an issue should Europe not go quite to plan!

DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!!!

Jinky, there can be no denying the logic of what you say so I agree. In the new year, when the picture is clearer we will be highly motivated to step up our standards to win the SPL. currently we are well below par in the SPL but we will win it and do well in Europe. That, for me shows real progress from last season. Rangers or no Rangers.

re: Rangers, I do not disagree with you, i wanted them papped down into the 1st but that didn't happen, there you go.

I won't be critical of Neil or the lads today, its a habit we need to break, the SPL comedown after the CL high is something that needs adressing, but imo there is no panic.

heed the progress we have made in Europe has been fantastic .But the problem is as you say we WILL win the title everybody knows that but that in itself is NOT healthy for our game or our club we NEED competition to motivate the team

Iike I said I am not at the games at the moment but agree great result midweek and for me our team should have been buzzing, but not for the first time after Europe we have been caught wanting, now yes I want us to do well in Europe but the same time fans gave paid very good money for games like today, we keep this up and next season SPL games gates will fall big time

I will wait and see what happens

The most important thing is to measure our progress. The best benchmark is in Europe against the best teams. The SPL, with or without Rangers is not a good gauge. Most of Europe look at Scottish football as a minor league.

Progress we've made has been excellent so I am happier with that than any Rangers competition in a small time league.
