Dear Mr Harry,

This is a written request for me to leave the Tooting branch of Tesco. Despite me signing my contract last month I am no longer happy in my current role as checkout supervisor. The direction the store is heading does not match my ambitions and I would like to move to a store that has a better chance of success in the Supermarket Awards. I am also not happy working alongside Dave on the deli counter – his style of selling meat is at odds with the way I feel we should be and I believe I can find a better class of staff at another store. Until my request is granted I can’t see that I can perform in my role so I won’t be coming into work until my move is permitted.
