As good as he was couple of years ago, it's fair to say he's finished now.
He is incredibly ineffective.
Sure he's got nice flicks and touches, but he's not direct or penetrative enough with his passes.
And though he shouldn't be judged on the amount of goals he scores, he isn't a goal threat either.
Decent squad player. But when a squad player is rarely around, then he fast becomes 'dead wood'.
People are actually looking forward to his return as if he'll add much to our team.
Just shows how bad our current plight is.

What Rosicky is very good at is making those driving runs forward, which can be invaluable if we've settled into our lethargic passing routine in the middle of the park. He could well make a difference to our play when/if he comes back.

Deserved a ban for this disgusting article.

Disagree.
Rosicky may not be a great goal threat but his sharpness, quick passing and driving runs from midfield helps us create spaces and chances.
One of my favourite players.

Agree with you mate. Rosicky had bk end product and us all flicks but no threat. The guy got his 2 year deal with a pay increase and is now injured again. He needs to be put down.

It's so exhausted with players like Gibbs, Rosicky and Diaby. I give up on them. I am fed up.

A real shsme, we have too many rose-tinted glasses wearing supporters who actually think the likes of Rosicky, Ramsey, Diaby etc... belong in a club with top 4 ambition.
I'm still waiting for that Man City bid for them

It's a shame, I think he could be very good in a deep-lying playmaker role. But yeah, the guy is a joke now. Harsh, but true. He turned our season round last time he was fit.
