What constitutes World Class?

What does a player have to do to be called world class. There's been a few discussions about whether Suarez is world class or not. Some say he's not world class as " apparently his goalscoring for liverpool has been unimpressive in their opinions at 34 in 68( in 2 seasons).

Some also say we must ignore his goalscoring( 111 in 159) for Ajax as it's in a mediocre league, don't know what they base that on as it's produced some of the best players the world has seen, zlatan, berkgamp, robben, RVP to name a few.

They say RVP is world class, even though he's only scored 20+ goals once in his very long career but Suarez is not with a better goalscoring ratio.

So I'm asking again, what constitutes "World Class"?

If falcao leaves, can't see Suarez wanting to go - he'll end up in the same situation as he is now

One way or the other he'll end up at a club with guaranteed CL

Mmmm, Madrid or Liverpool don't forget the language and culture aspects too.

Yeh, I haven't forgotten Liverpool's history as being the capital of culture or that they speak a different language to us.

Have you seen the Spanish league mate? AM are in 2nd spot, 5 points ahead of RM. They are 12 points ahead of 5th spot. They are a safer bet for the CL than any of the PL teams right now.

I actually like Liverpool, well I like the centre, never stepped foot out of my car in the rest.

It's a viable option though kaiser, like I said I don't see him leaving. I could actually see him doing a Gerrard and staying there throughout regardless of what he wins following the support he's received.

Athletico need tk replace Falcao though, he really is the difference for them. They are a decent side, but you give him a chance and he scores it. I hope Chelsea don't get him.

"AM are in 2nd spot"

with Falcao

to the point above, I think the backing and support we gave him means a lot to him

at the end of the day it's no guarantee but it surely can't hurt

But if Suarez is indeed world class, and in Falcao's level, he would surely be the perfect direct replacement?

sure

by why trade one club that would probably be in big trouble if you stopped scoring or got injured for another one?

That's pretty much a sideways move

Sorry, but it isn't. LFC are already in trouble even though Suarez is scoring goals. If he stopped scoring goals, you'd be in a relegation dogfight. I think you need to re-evaluate just where your club is right now. AM are miles ahead of you at the moment.
