Defoe vs. Falcao

Defoe is a good premiership player, but to compare him to one of the brightest upcoming talents in world football, well, that's a load of croaky voiced, poo-squat flop.

To be honest I think it was more a case of sending out the message 'We aren't bidding for Falcao, so don't get your hopes up in January' than a genuine comparison.

Greedy and no understanding of the offside rule but still a damn good player

I think everybody knows the Defoe is not Falcao but if you look at his stats they're surprisingly brilliant. Especially given he has the poacher reputation and his assists and passing aren't too shabby.

If Defoe moved to the premiership this summer from Spain say and he started the season like he has this one, we'd be absolutely creaming ourselves.

Imagine if Suarez had scored that goal that Defoe scored, all the Mousers would be proclaiming Suarez a footballing god and the best player in the PL......... oh wait a minute, they`ve done that already

Don't see the issue Ricky - he is

He will be to you Mousers, unfortunately not to many others.... good player he is but there are many better players in the PL.
