happy with last nights result (but was disappointed with the Villa game).
we sit 7th in the table, 5 points behind 3rd place Chelsea.
we know the league is going to be between the 2 manchester teams, so the best we can do this season is 3rd and to try to close the gap as much as possible to the top 2.
We have played away to both Liverpool, Everton and the two Manchester clubs. Add to that away to Stoke and West Ham. who both very strong teams at home.
I can understand people being disappointed right now specially after our good start, but form and injures have effect the team. We miss Diaby and we defiantly miss Song.
i would like us to sign a player in Jan, i would want it to be a Diaby, Y Toure type of player. i know these are not cheap, but i hope Wenger finds another gem from somewhere.
i hope with Theo, Ox and Wilshire back, this team can stay injure free and kick on to the new year.

Nice to read a well-measured response to what I thought was a good point away from home.
Speaking of good points, I reckon you have one there about Song. We do miss him, more than RVP I think. Wenger has been making some odd decisions lately so I'm really not sure what he'll do in January but I certainly wouldn't say no to signing a Toure-esque midfielder...

i just think our fans think theres a crisis if we dont win.
Its not like all the teams around are winning, everyone is dropping points and theres still along way to go.

Go back a week and you'd think everyone was taking fistfuls of valium we were that happy. Being bi-polar is par for the course for Arsenal fans at the moment.
