all hope for this season & in wenger when we sold our very best player & captain to a league rival, who were not that much better than us.
Some might argue that RVP wanted to leave & we couldnt force him to stay after that statement. The truth is that he saved us big time last season & we needed him to give us one last season to help podolski & giroud blend in. RVP is a professional & despite his statement loved this club, if we forced him to stay he would still give us 100% & not throw a fuss knowing he would leave soon.
I expected when the interests from City & Juve began to wane our board would have tried to retain such a key player but they showed gross stupidity by selling RVP thereby destroying any chance we had of winning anything this season.
I blame wenger becos despite what some say hes a very influential figure here. The board love him becos he makes them richer every year. Wenger should have insisted that RVP wasnt sold & maybe threatened to quit if he was. I am pretty sure if he did the board would have backed down.
I Lost....

Geoff and the boys will have fun with this interview on Saturday. My god we are such a laughing stock.

Omg what rubbish was that, this losing mentality stems from the Board and the Manager and it's no surprise that our players look so demotivated on the pitch. What's the point of giving it your all week in week out when the club isn't even remotely interested in winning things.
Pathetic attitude, I feel sick!

Tom Fox December 2012:
“When they see that we can attract – even though we haven’t won a trophy in seven years – one of the top global brands in the world for the type of money and financial commitment they’re making, that makes our fans feel proud."
Ivan Gazidis February 2012:
"People I meet from all around the world, when they think about Arsenal Football Club, think about the style with which we play the game. And our fans have tremendous pride in that."
The delusion at our club is not only staggering, but apparently unabating.

“We look at it whether it’s Serge Gnabry, who is a 17-year-old player in our reserves squad, whether it’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, whether it’s Theo Walcott, we look at these young players and have faith in our manager to develop them as the players for the future,” added Fox.'
We have just become a glorified youth academy now.

Apparently Christian Eriksen said something similat about us when he was being linked with a move away from Ajax last season.
So not only are we becoming a youth academy, but pretty soon not even a youth academy for top young players.

"The style with which we play the game" To be honest. We are awful at the moment. I am not proud of that at all.

We're going for youngsters from the lower leagues now, at least we are still good enough for Zaha.

Arsen Wenger: If we lose Cesc and Samir, no-one will believe we're ambitious'
You can accuse Wenger of many things but 1 thing is certain he has great foresight
