Euro 2020 to be held in multiple countries

I also think it is a good idea.
As for travel, a lot of people I know who go to such tournaments don't go for the duration of a tournament. They go for a match then come home, then go back for the next match and so on .
And also the people who I know who stayed for more than one game in Euro 2012 actually stayed in Poland and travelled to Ukraine for the 2 games they saw.

All depends on the countries selected. You could have it in Czech Rep., Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia, and it would still be smaller in area than in France, Germany or Spain.

Just another step closer to a one world government.

As an example, your team could play its group games in France, then off to Spain for the QFs, Italy for the semis and Wembley for the final. Now for the diehard fan who wants to follow his country, doesn't exactly sound cheap, does it?

Exactly. And on top of that, even the atmopshere in bars/pubs will be different. It usually build ups through th event, but with this format, it will be just like another game!

Even though I think its a great idea, I share this opinion. International Football has been dead since 1998.
