Great Performance

Henderson was fantastic.

Henderson even looks much more self-assured, I feel this team is growing!

Very happy for Joe Cole. We know he CAN be good, even great, and his ability does not disappear overnight. Henderson is now settling in nicely. But a few worries: a) Allen is limited going forward and redundant now Lucas is back b) Lucas is rusty, but this is temporary c) Downing still doesn't bring enough to the party d) Sterling is being overplayed - he's only 17 and needs time to mature and beef up a bit.

Great Performance? I can't agree with that, I actually thought that was our worst display this season!

Am so glad we finally got a win we didn't (imo) deserve, as we have lost/drawn FAR too many games we deserved to win.

We started brightly and got battered as soon as Cole came on. Other than his goal, he was rubbish!!!
Only when Cole equalised we got better.

Some prople are so blinkered its unbelievable

I can't agree with the "great performance" comment either. Although not our worst, it was no where near great.

Having said that, it's about time we didn't play that well and, when it looked a nailed on defeat at 2-1, we came back to win.

Also, Suarez hasn't scored for a few games yet we've picked up a reasonable amount of points from the last six games, I just hope he starts getting back on the scoresheet again soon.

But, today has proved that we aren't solely reliant on him in front of goal. We can score without him, if we play football in the right areas.

Just got in there before me. We were really bad today.
Gerrard, Allen, Downing, Sterling amongst others were really bad!!

Great to get the 3 points..... Especially after another shocking referee display!!

OK performance. Patchy, sometimes quality othertimes passing vanished.

We had a hard time when the ball was bouncing or hoofed. Which was quite a lot.

Just finishes watching the game, didn't know the score beforehand. The team just lost direction, especially in the second half. I just could not, ever, ever, see us winning the game. There was no leadership, no teamwork, full marks to WH, the stopped us playing. Joe Allen and Raheem both look increasingly tired.johnsons best game this season. Lucas? The game just passed him bye. Full marks to BR not sitting back, got him off. That ugly looking hag who always stays away, especially when Jonjo deserved 100% penalty, where was she today? Actually, I think she was with us for the first time this season. Hello, Lady Luck. Your'e not really that ugly after all. Welcome home, stay a while. jimmyTheRed
