Crossing

Uniteds game relies very much on wing play and to be fair we get a lot of goals from this method however I just can't help but think how many goals we'd get if we had a good/consistent crosser of the ball. Our best crosser of the ball is Van Persie and he should be the one in the middle connecting with them. That's why I really wanted us to go for Baines in the summer, who is a fantastic crosser of the ball.

1. Valencia: Last couple of years he seemed to be able to pick out a cross. He set up so many of Rooneys goals but now he literally just has no idea. He smashes it hard and low almost every time and more often it hits the first man. When he does look up and try and hit a cross he does the stupid little floating cross and normally over hits it by 10 metres.

2. Young: From his Villa days, I thought his crossing was good. Frankly not good enough and if he did have a decent cross, he'd be a great player for us cause he's always free and getting in good positions. No end product at all.

3. Nani: Absolute class crossing on his day however as said many times before with Nani, just no where near consistent enough. I really hope he stays and learns some consistency.

4. Jones: Awful crosser of the ball. Just hits and hopes.

5. Rafael: Probably our most consistent crosser. I love this guy, hope he starts right back every game and plays for us for a long time.

6. Evra: Even in his prime had a terrible cross, now it's just getting worse. However when he gets to the bi line and pulls it back, more often than not he finds his target.

So of the players that play in a wide position, who would you say is the best crosser of the ball?

Bring back Beckham I say.

I thought Valencia was a good crosser of the ball anyway? Has he been out of form or something?

He is and yes, he has, through injury.

Poor crossing is the order of the day... God forbid anyone's head measurably make contact with the ball.

According to Rudolph the red vino drinker anyway

Hahaaha! Couldn't help it! Fergies attempt at deflection has led to him being ridiculed all over.

Indeed, every forum and media outlet in the country is talking about it. Nothing on the game at all, if he hadn't have said the comments Rooney would be getting slated left right and centre. Which he deserves really.

Well ... forums mentioning it is an attempt at deflection does cast a spotlight on the performance, and still gets him ridiculed.

Fail!

Well no one has discussed the performance have they? Everyone is just obsessed with what he's said, like yourself Anyway Swansea embarassed you at Anfield in the CC and drew in the league, we got a point from a tough stadium. 4 points ahead at Christmas, life is good.
