With wife and children, normal day really, sprouts, parsnips and carrots from the garden, I cooked a pretty decent meal to be honest, Doctor Who, wife now gone again, me and kids watching telly, glass of wine, funny old day really, life goes on, happy Christmas.

I spent mine in Benidorm visiting Mrs Moj's folks, so it was a very French affair, looking out over the magnificent Playa levante beach and eating serrano ham, foie gras, potato with onion and Roast Chicken on Xmas Eve, and pretty much the same on Christmas day but with a succulent garlic-bedecked shoulder of lamb replacing the chicken. A rather nice rose wine flowed freely and damned fine it was too. Doctor Who, vidal - same here!: retreated to the laptop to watch it apres dejeuner!
