Lampard told to leave CFC

http://www.espnstar.com/football/premier-league/news/detail/item912781/Report:-Blues-show-Lampard-the-door

If real that is not a way to treat a club legend. RA did promises heads will roll on the day of sacking AVB. also rumors terry won't be given another contract .

I'm really afraid of the lack of experience in our next squad.

Other side of Roman? I don't think so.

This is simply how the papers work.

I agree that too much change too soon will just make us another arsenal.

Frank deserves respect, in the next 10 yrs this present crop of players will also be over 30, how will they be feeling now knowing what awaits them in future

He will be. The fans won't forget about him, neither will his fellow teammates, neither will the history books. If Lampard is the ultimate professional i thought he was pre-AVB, that'll be all the recognition he'll need for his service to our club.

And i must echo JFDI words (as per usual), you must realise where Abramovich is concerned all the papers have to go on is behavioural patterns for an objective piece about anything relating back to his actions. Lampard could be asking for more than he's worth behind the scenes, we don't know. This over 30 y/o dispensable rule the press have plucked out their backside sounds very pie in the sky to me.

Lamps is assured of sainthood at the club and it would be great if he could finnish his career at the club but we must refrain from overpaying players the type of money some of our more experienced players are on now.

People cite Scholes and Giggs as examples of why we should be keeping experienced players but I'll bet they are realistic over their wage demands, now they are past their best - Frank should accept his best days are behind him and cut his cloth accordingly!

A bit of give and take required on both sides!
