Just wondering if anyone is heading to the Dublin Super Cup? I have a ticket for the second day when we play the Airtricity eleven. I wanted to go on the first day to watch us play Inter, but I went golfing today and sent the missus to get the tickets and she got mixed up.... C'est la Vie.... should be a good day on the beer anyway
Do you think the teams will field strong sides? I hope so...although with the SPL already started we might not. With Inter and City's star studded squads am sure there will be some quality players on show in any case. The ticket is vaild for both games played on the day.

DundalkBhoy I think you have got your dates mixed up. Man City play the Airtricity XI first. The Inter Milan game is the following day.

I've yet to understand who, what and were the supercup is being played. On differering web sites we (city) are playing saturday or sunday with both matches being played on saturday and no day for the final.
It doesnt even explain things on confused.com

Its being played in the Aviva stadium Dublin, City Play an Airtricty eleven (Irish league) on Saturday and Inter on Sunday....The final is a mystery to me also.

So who do Celtic play and when, thats whats confusing me...when do we play Celtic, do we play celtic, are celtic playing inter on saturday and they expect the final to be city or Inter.....

Lee we (celtic) are scheduled to play Inter first then the Airtricity eleven. I am not sure if there will be a 'final' after each team has two games or not. Being a 'cup' you would imagine there is or at least there should be. I cannot find any information on a final.
Joe Harts Dance - Stokes will play for Celtic, The Airtricity select is of our Irish League not International players - Like if there was an EPL select.
