Roma striker Mirko Vucinic's agent claims to have held preliminary discussions with Manchester United regarding a transfer.
"The meeting with the leaders of Manchester United was yesterday," Lucci told lasignoraingiallorosso.it.
"It has only been a chat, in which no offers have been made nor was there an agreement sorted.
"The English club, however, really like Vucinic, but to see him with the shirt of the Red Devils, there is still work to do."

His technique, work rate and versatility are a real draw and in the past the prices quoted have always been affordable ones, however 7 strikers on the books with Berba underlining his determination to stay put, Welbeck and Macheda both not wanting to go out on loan and Diouf not knowing where this Blackpool talk is coming from....
Mirko Vucinic?

We already have more than enough strikers.

I suggest in the next article down (which all you mofos have ignored!) that it's just possible he is intended as a replacement for poor old Dimitar.

Weird signing if it happens. Cause a striker is not needed/he's no better than any of the main strikers there anyway.

You really think Fergie and Gill are having meetings about another striker with an Italian agent in New Jersey?
If so, I've got a bridge in London I'd love to sell you...

His agent justs want to scare Spurs into a higher wage for Vucinic. If United reps are in Rom then it is more likely for De Rossi than Vucinic. SAF has said that Welbeck will be staying and we still don't know about Mecheda and Diouf. we ave more than enough strikers at the club.
