Well, this season is yet again very inconsistant in terms of results, won the same as we've lost more or less, the football is poor, we all know that, we all know we need some real quality to add to the few good players we already have...
What needs to change? - do we get rid of NW now? - get a manager in, an attractive football type? and give him some money to push for promotion,
or do we stick with NW? - give him the money for transfers? - knowing that NW could have Messi in his team and still play one root hoof ball style?
Could it be that NW is a little dated for this league? - yes he has a great CV of getting teams to the premiership, but taking QPR out of this, his last promotion was 10 years ago or so.... could it be that the style of NW is now dated for English football?

Nothing wrong in pleading poverty right now, or transfer fees will go up when we make an enquiry. GFH said they'd back Warnock, Warnock says he has targets he's trying for and both club and manager know the fans expectations. lets just leave them to get on with it and see what happens.
Warnock if he gets the players he wants, and goes on to make a shambles then sack him. If he gets us up everyone will get off his back and hope GFH give him another contract.
This league is average with plenty of average teams all taking points off one another, except maybe bardiff. The wheels usually come off with them anyway, and can't see palace staying up top for much longer, because their manager has an habit of upsetting a few players, and maybe Zaha is on his bike anyway.
The best available manager to replace Warnock already has a job and those out of work we don't want, so lets just see what happens and get behind the club for a change eh

I agree with you NJS and that is why GFH value Warnock so highly... because they want a quick fix promotion at minimum cost, sign a couple of geniune match-winning quality, attacking players and promotion is still possible, even despite the awful style of football.
Also Liw, I have to disagree with you on QPR under Warnock I'm afraid mate, the football they played for a team at the top of the championship table was pretty dire, everyone said so at the time too.
They scored a lot of their goals from counter attacks and lucky breaks the same way we do now, don't remember seeing them give anyone a hiding that year and plenty of their victories were lucky 1-0s and 2-1s...
Only difference was they had Taraabt and Faurlin to also provide match winning quality and individual goals when they most needed it.
Yes, maybe they passed it around slightly better than we do now, but that's not hard when you've got the likes of Taraabt, Faurlin and Mackie, as opposed to Varney, Green and Norris.

Bare in mind there is more presser here then at any other club in the championship.
A young manager may fold and have lost it by x-mad with our fans.
Not many manager will get us up in one season.
Changing managers now would be stupid, and pointless.
Who cares if the football is poor? Was it any better with sg? And watching us get turned over all the time? People want entertaining football but happy for us to get 5-1 by Barnsley? You want them days back? And never believing we would get in the top 6 unless you was daft and could not see a poor manager.
I do with nw in charge.
Should be given a new deal now for next season
My only worry is he has not got the same man has his number.
