No not that little rodent full back . I am of course talking about Fabio Borini.
Where does he sit now that we have signed Sturridge.
I personally don't think much of him as a wide man and think he needs to be in the box to get the most out of himself.
Does he play back up to Suarez and Sturridge or do we look at him as one for the future ?
I personally think Yesil is more likely to be the one for the future over Borini and wonder whether his injury and the signing of Sturridge may mean he will become another player who will miss out.
I want him to do well as i liked him when he was playing in Italy and thought he was a good buy by BR and maybe he can become a super sub with fresh legs ??
Thoughts?

Downing plays on the left or right of a front 3.
Borini plays on the left or right of a front 3.
Ah, I see your point

I'd agree
Also agree on Ince = Bye bye Downing
He's been playing well, but cash in whilst he's on a high imo

I don't think we will be signing anybody else this window.

If we get ince i can;t see that meaning that Downing is on his way out. he has responded wel to criticism lately and put in some good performances. Our squad is very thin so keeping him around is a no brainer as far as I am concerned.

I see Borini as our fox in the box sub/rotated striker.
We saw that he is not as good wide as he is down the middle as he is not a natural wide player and doesn't have the pace to get down the flank.
His work rate is very good though, and I think given time he will be a good finisher for us.
With Sturridge ineligible for the Europa League I think Borini will have a big part to play in that competition when he gets himself fit, which is imminent

Could be back in training next week according to this.
