Where will BR play...

Sturridge and Suarez?

I would play Suarez centrally with Sturridge on the right and Sterling on the left. Suarez is in such good form that I think it would be more of a risk to move him.

Suarez playing as a number 10 behind Sturridge is also an option worth looking at, especially in home games against packed defences.

So, initially at least, where would you like to see both our fit senior strikers play?

I think it will be interchangeable from game to game, and in games.

What matters is that the players are mobile, but also take defensive responsibility when out of possession.

I am just excited that for the first time in ages we actually have a mobile front line.

Counter attacking football wins games in the Premier League, particularly away from home obviously.

The hamster was an orphans pet

I agree righteous, the mobility of our front three is a massive plus. I just hope that BR has the tactical flexibility to adopt a counter attacking style were appropriate. The signs are that he has altered our approach a little bit, combined with players becoming more familiar with what BR wants.

It doesn't reall matter where they line up as the front 3 constantly change position, look where sterling was when Suarez dropped deep for the first goal v Sunderland.

Even if sturridge starts wide tight and Suarez through the centre they will both spen allot of time through the middle especially sturridge as BR will tell him to push into the centre when Suarez goes wide or goes deeper to get on the ball.

We can just let Suarez go where he wants and the others will work off that, it's not just to let him go where he wants but he's always involved in our build up play in the final 3rd that our game just seems to flow through him. Its good having a player like sturridge come in who adept at playing either position, I'm excited and think he will do well for us especially gaining from the space Suarez will create for him.

@ Got Better

Suarez played from the wing when Huntelaar was still playing at Ajax. When Huntelaar left for Madrid, Suarez took over as CF, and had his best period at Ajax, scoring 49 goals in 48 games in one season.

His last 6 months at Ajax he was played on the wing again, because Martin Jol bought Mounir El Hamdaoui to play as CF....a big mistake, as Jol's successor, Frank de Boer, left Mounir out of the squad all together because of his attitude, even after Suarez was sold to Liverpool!

Yes, Suarez could play on the wing again, but his best form, both at Ajax and now Liverpool, has been as a CF.
And I hope he will continue to play there.
