TORRES HAS FALLEN OUT OF LOVE WITH THE GAME

As formerly one of my favourite players, to be honest I wish that somebody would put Torres out of his misery at chelsea. I know there is some ill feeling over his departure from Liverpool, but his performances when he was here still gave me some of my best football memories in recent years.

From looking at his demeanour and attitude on the pitch over the last couple of years, I think he has fallen out of love with football, certainly in England.

He has won almost all of the biggest honours in world football (albeit with sometimes limited contributions), he probably has as more money than he can spend, and with the injuries he has had, he must know that he is realistically never again going to be the player that he was at liverpool. On top of that, throw in the media witch hunt over his transfer value (not his fault), and now being the target of the chelsea boo boys and you can understand why he looks a little (a lot) jaded.

I think the best think he could do would be to cut his losses and go back to spain, at least he can jog about in the sunshine. Failing that, I would happily take him at liverpool on loan til the end of the season to boost our striking options, and maybe at least give him a decent send off, as I'm sure most of us still remember all the positives despite his acrimonious departure.

knickers in a twist!!!! you are the one that's biting here.Is it or is it not true that after 19 league games Liverpool had accumulated the same number of points under the terrible manager with terrible signings hodgson than they have with the next best thing that is Brendum

True or false?

I'm the one biting?

You've gone from blaming Rafa for Torres' decline to ranting about Rodgers and Hodgson with just a few prods from me.

I love you, Phil

Still not denied what I have said is untrue.

It must be right when people say 'the truth hurts'

I have no interest in discussing Liverpool with someone as utterly bitter as you; it's an exercise in futility.

It is fun laughing at you frantically trying to get a rise out of me, though.

No, I dismantled your tosh about Rafa and Torres and then laughed at you pawing at Rodgers, trying to rile me up.

Now that you've calmed down, I'm off.

It's the truth though Dr,exact same league records after 19 games hodgson despite what was going on around him and being booed by his own fans, whilst Brendum has had it easy and yet is still as poor results wise.
==========================================

Roy was sacked after 20 games I think, at which time we were 3pts worse off. But it was the dour football he wanted us to play that turned people off him & then his comments/slagging of the fans & players that put the final nail in the coffin.

BR says the right things and gets the team playing nice football. RH said rubbish things and got the team playing rubbish football. The points are irrelevant. Much like cups are for Everton.
