So they've dropped their case. I hope whatever they were paid off didnt come out of LFC's pocket.

Was their case not against Ian Ayre, Purslow and Broughton as there's no mention of anything against LFC in the reports

I doubt they even had a proper case - they dropped it when they realised they didn't want to pay the legal fees for a case they'd never win in the UK where it matters.
