If I remember correctly Cannigia he played reasonably well in his debut against Swansea, one or two games later (Preston away I think) he lost possession and failed to track back and they scored. After that Billy only played him once more, in the last game of the regular season where he scored a cracker in a 2-2 draw. He was never really given a fair crack of the whip here as for some reason Billy didn't rate him.
