Jay Rodriguez and Diving

Have to say although I don't condone cheating, it's a rather impressive and convincing dive and you can see why the referee gave it.

It's worrying that it's now become a skill, might end up seeing it as a new attribute on FIFA or PES.

FA won't do anything about it which is wrong, they need to be tougher and implement a ban to stop it whether you're Suarez, Bale or Rodriguez. Who knows it may end up costing Villa £80 million and extra which is a shame as they've been one of the unluckiest teams I've seen for a while.

The ref is nowhere in the picture! Championship for hium next week I suspect.

If that was Suarez it'll be front page news. Guaranteed.

Funny how if it had been Suarez he'd be named and shamed in the media headlines but instead we have to do a bit of digging in the articles to see who committed the heinous crime.

Why would the press highlight Suarez diving?
He never dives or cheats.
Does he?
Please enlighten me if otherwise, as I feel he is the perfect role model fo youngsters, the epitome of Corinthian values.

Villa are not unlucky....

They are just not good enough.

Tbf that dive was well performed. The way he swiped his leg when the oppositions leg moved meant it looked like he had been fouled.
Tbh (I'm not just saying this cos is Suarez, I think this about bale too) if someone does dive on purpose to win a foul, it's ridiculed at. But what about other forms of cheating that aren't so obvious. Like saying you got a corner when it quite clearly came off you and you know it. If the ref doesn't agree and knows the player knows he's lying, why don't refs punish that kind of crime as much as they do for diving.
I don't accept cheating by any means, but if all aspects aren't as modified as others, then players have every right to try and take advantage.
Whether that be Suarez, bale or Rodriguez, taking advantage of something and trying to win is a clever idea. I don't blame people who try it until technology comes in.

Villa have only had 3 good games so far, nothing to do with being unlucky. They're just not good enough!

I agree with KLS, Villa are just crap. I'm quite pleased actually as I don't like the way Lambert left Norwich for a supposedly bigger club.

Looking at Villa now I really don't understand how we suffered from a 3-1 reverse at home against them.
