But as you just said thebluebellsareblue, it was Ivanovic who gave away two goals, not Rafa. Not that this is unique to Chelsea - there's a general tendency to blame managers for defeats but not credit them for victories.

I was pointing out that the fans did not make Ivan mess up,and boos did not stop Chelsea winning 8-0 at home.

Torres has to accept blame imo,as when we mess up in defence,he can't save us......unlike RVP,when Man U concede.

I want Chelsea to win under Rafa,as I am a fan.However,blaming the fans for bad player performance or Rafa's team selection is pathetic and lame.

Roman got rid of Jose,Wilkins and now RDM,while Pep has now turned him down,and we are stuck with Rafa for now.If the gooners beat us on Sunday,Roman may ditch Rafa,so why should we back this little man?

It was good for Pepe and football to turn Roman down, the man is unable to stick with a manager such is his ego. He never deserved such a manager to take over after the way he booted out Jose.

Your club is in a state now and IMO Roman needs to curb his ego and let a manager get on with the job. But we all know he's unable to leave alone.

I do applaud your loyalty to RDM though, it was no small effort at all to win the CL. It beggars belief that he was cast aside after bringing in the trophy RA wanted most.

There is your reason Pep won't join BTW.

RDM was a nice bloke in a job too big for him who got really, really lucky to win a cup competition.

Did Rafa make those things happen or was it Ivanovich? Rafa gets the blame though!

Said it before, this is a shop window exercise for Rafa IMO......"come and get me Madrid, I still fookin' got it " (in MelB style - BO Selecta!!!!)

I am not focusing on Rafa alone or blaming him for our woes.
Rather,pointing out the fans are not to blame for recent failures,as some say.............many Chelsea fans too btw.

As I said,Rafa called us plastic,and he is Roman's interim pet boss.RDM was a popular successful manager,poorly treated by the board and Roman.

Roman is liked by Pool fans,so fair enough,but he is simply a passing fancy at the Bridge.

He is putting himself up there for a job elsewhere.
