...............Age
Suarez.......25
Sturridge....23
Borini........22
All have a reasonable amount of pace, and all three can play across the front; left, right and through the centre. We all know about Suarez, and Sturride (btw took a 25% pay cut to be at LFC) has 2 in 2, not too shabby a start is it; already looks like a player who has slotted stright in and has great movement and turn of pace. This brings me onto Borini, now dont ask me why but i just feel this lad is about to hit a run of form and show us what hes made of, he has great movement and hopefully will score at the weekend.
I like the look of these 3 and BR has the players he wanted up front, fluid, tricky, interchangeable and great movement......lets see if they really click in fornt of the home crowd on Saturday.
Goes without sayong that its a must win....got to catch the blues.
Our new (fairly) strike force.

B.R is building this team around Lucas, which he clearly stated, and you can't have a 4-3-3 system without DM. So, Sneidjer would be great though with Gerrard and Lucas in the midfield. Borini-Sturridge-Suarez is a no-brainer. B.R must be thinking how to fit is own boy Allen there as well...

Not sure if its too early to start both at the moment, neither are match fit but both looked sharp when they came on.
Maybe keep Sterling on with one of Borini/Sturridge then sub one for the other. I would start with Sturridge as he has had more game time. Can't wait for both to be fully fit and suddenly we have options.

we've played 4-2-3-1 this season
I think we should do it more so Sturridge can play up top and Suarez behind him. It looked great v United

GB, I did think there was a real chance of Alonso coming back when we got Sahin. I thought it was a lead up to getting Xabi back. But now that's gone to pot I can't see it.
I agree it would seem easy to pay Xabi and Sneijder whatever wages and relatively small transfer fees as imagine that team's pulling power come the summer. Rather than Allen and Henderson. Could be good players, but not the quality to attract quality!
Fingers crossed tho!!

Still think we would be better suited to a 4-4-1-1, with out current players. Playing Suarez or Sturridge wide doesn't really sit well with me.
On current form i would go with:
-----------------Reina---------------
Wisdom--Skrtel----Agger--Johnson
Sterling--Henderson--Gerrard--Enrique
-----------------Suarez-----------------
-----------------Sturridge--------------
Lucas, Allen, Downing, Borini etc for impact. Just my opinion.

My worry is we buy another forward now. That'd be a big mistake for me!
They won't be world class we can be certain of that. With such a young forward line the next attacking purchase (whenever it may be) needs to be the very top level. I can't see us having 5 first team fwds so the 4th would need to be of Suarez quality.
Suarez
New signing
Sturridge/Borini fighting for 3rd fwd position
Sorry, a ramble I know...it's been a long day!

Rodgers will be looking to buy a no 10 in the summer.
So I reckon we'd end up with
--------------No10------------
---Sturridge-----Suarez--
For now I reckon Suarez would play that role probably behind Sturridge and Borini.
I think we'll see this against Norwich.
------------Suarez-------------
Sturridge----------Borini

Agree 100% ^^^ And this should be our major signing. Eriksen or Isco, don't know too many others available. They suit out apparent policy and could well be achievable
