Bruce Arians it is.

He did a good job with the Colts last year and he's an offensive mind which we definitely need at Arizona so on the face of it this looks like a good hiring.

However it's looking likely that we're going to lose Ray Horton as our DC. The man who was in charge of the only respectable thing in Arizona last year, the defence, is going to leave now. FFS.

The Arizona Cardinals are just a losing organisation if we're getting rid of our best staff.

I wish Bruce Arians all the best at the job though and hope he can prove me wrong and make the Cardinals relevant again.

Relevant again? Again.....?

I thought Horton may have got the big gig, seems a bit strange when you have someone that good on staff with Head Coach potential.

Just had a quick scan of the some media and it looks like Horton was p1ssed when he was passed over.

I'm sure he wont be short of offers

On a quick aside, Manto Te'o, at it?

Any succesfull co-ordinator potentially has "head coach potential".

I'm guessing the figure they have talent on defence so any NFL quality coordinator should be able to get something out of them.

Offesnively they are a joke, aside for Larry Fitz they've got nothing so there's potentially a lot of turnover of skill position players in the offseason and Arians did a good job crafting a play-off calibre offense largely with all rookies aside from Reggie Wayne.

A few of the mock drafts have Geno Smith falling to us. This excites me.

You've got a top 10 pick right?
Geno Smith falling?
None of those QB's are worth a top 10 pick, it's a poor QB class, not convinced in the gap in talent level between the projected first rounders and the middle round QBs.
You need O-Line, doesnt matter who you've got back there if he's permanently under pressure/on this backside.

Yes O Line is probably a priority but I'm excited by the idea of a franchise QB and Smith looks like the only one with franchise potential in the draft.

I suppose though with a good o line Kolb would be a decent QB and it would stop him getting injured all the god damn time.
