100k per week English football players

Shall we just have a look at the number of English players that get paid 100k or more a week.

Frank Lampard: Long servant for CFC and obviously many european clubs are also interested to sign him even at the age of 34. Deserved to get paid over 100k a week.

John Terry: Again, a long servant for CFC and obviously one of the current English defender.

Gerrard: The England captain has won champions league at Liverpool and he is not only a long servant for LFC but also the club's ambassador.

Ferdinand: Won numerous titles at Man Utd and he is one of the best English defenders even at this age.

Wayne Rooney:Arguably Man Utd's best player (maybe prior to RvP's arrival) and one of the best English striker in the last 10 years.

Theo Walcott: I really lost words about Theo Walcott...any help would be appreciated.

Can't remember Fab.

Who says Walcott will be on £100k a week? Do they know for sure?

I don't even think he is worth £90K but when you see the money average players like Barry, Milner and Young are on then you have to commend him for his loyalty. He could have got almost double his money at a different club. Well done Theo

Those players you mentioned are not 23-year olds..

How many people remember when Arsenal are reluctant to pay 5k a week more to Ashley Cole, one of the best left backs in this world?

Why does it matter how old he is? Do you think Victor Valdes earns more money than Messi? You are such a moron

Walcott and Rooney are overpaid (both very average players), the others are overpaid but only in the sense that all footballers are.

Your worth what someone is prepared to pay you, that even includes you.

Wilshere joined Arsenal in 2001. Does that mean we should be paying him over 100k like Lampard?

Yes, 7 freaking years ago. And people gave the club shít for being cheap when they did that and for doing the same with several other players, so the club changes its ways and gives a player what he wants and people are giving them shít for that now!
