Just to clarify City fans, its even possible he joined because he loves the area and thinks the new strip is super cool. Spurs qualified for the CL ahead of City. All the big names were signed by City. Much to our annoyance, Spurs couldn't get any big names with the exception of a last day VDV bargain.
The myth that 'big players want champions league football' was obliterated. Big name want big wages, nothing else.
