Jokes aside, i always take the missus out about a week before anyway. Its not necessarily cheaper, but it saves having to choose from a set menu that consists of pre-cooked food, where you only get a certain time-slot.

I'm with chicken.......me and the misses will go out either week before or week after for Valentines as on Valentines everything is over priced and booked up anyway. I am going to spurs v lyon by the way
