They were the better team today and to be honest I hope they go on and win the cup because they worked their socks off all game and it would be nice to see all their hard work pay off against a Hearts side which in real terms they cant afford.
As for us, well Im finding it difficult to find words to describe our performance on the day.
Shambolic is the best I can come up with.
That's 3 times in a row we've turned up at Hampden and put in a display like that and its obvious that someone needs to have a serious word with some of our "big" players. Mulgrew is normally reliable but he was atrocious today and there are many many other players who didnt put in a shift when the chips were down.
I would be very interested to see what Lenny does for the Juve game because I would hope that he might chop and change a few out of the team after this performance I dont think today was a tactical mistake as we created the chances to win the game but the defending was all over the place.
As far as the Treble goes, its always a nice dream to have and we should always aim for it but there's a reason that its not achieved very often and today is an example of that.
Fair play to the Buddies

I agree with what you said about Mulgrew..he sold the jerseys today big time, but he was not the only culprit out there...onwards and upwards as they say! Fair play to the saints.

I said similar in the St Mirren forum. They were excellent and well worth their win. Good luck to them in the final.
As for Celtic, another terrible Hampden display. I half expected it after the last few years there. That's what happens when most of the team put in performances like that.

i think the lack of competition in the spl has lead to complacency in celtic performances . this especially applied today. this will continue until ........who knows.

Disagree. There was plenty of competition today and Celtic fell short, it's as simple as that. Besides, this was a tournament that included Rangers.
