£4 Million for Butland is a joke and Curtis going to Norwich for a song as well, surprisingly no one has come in for Zigic!!

Jack Butland sold to Stoke for £4 or £5M, depending which story you read.
Not much of a fire sale

Think we got off lightly. Just have to make sure we finish 10 points clear of bottom 3 now!

I think we need some answers from pannu now, sending blues fans and media in to panic thinking we were going into admin, telling the press every player could leave then rejecting good offers like the one for Burke and Davies, then signing another forward!
Also a bit confused about the butland deal because several media stations talksport etc seem to think he is training with stoke Monday-Thursday then joining up with blues on a Friday and Saturday!!!?
I'd be tempted to play Doyle not butland he's a good keeper any way and his contract is up at the end of the season and if he goes we have 0 keepers

Doyle is awful.
He played against Leeds and was at fault for both goals.
he can't kick, he struggles to get down to low balls and is slow coming off his line.
I would let Doyle go in the summer.
While we have Butland I would play him, he is only here till the end of the season, then we will need two keepers in the summer.
I would take a guess that you sit in block 11 Mackem because everyone I speak to who sits in block 11 don't seem to like him, seems there is someone in that block that has been slagging him all season and it has rubbed off on everybody else in the block!

You are right on Pannu though, why create all the hysteria? People were panicking and then they turned down several good bids.
When you consider Davies is on £27k a week and Burke has 6 months left on his contract you would have thought both the offers would have been acceptable.

Block 9, I like butland I do, I really wish things were different and we could have been near the top with butland, Reilly, Redmond, hales, hancox etc in the side and young hungry home grown team would do well in te premier league it's been a while since we have good youngsters who the top clubs are linked with.
I just don't see the point in him coming back on loan to make him get experience for stoke if he doesn't massively improve the team. I think Doyle is a decent keeper and has rarely let us down in the past I think I will always back Doyle in goal because of his performance away to wolves my favourite game except wembley when he saved a last minute penalty! Good shot stopper but not much else to his game I'd agree but even last season away to Chelsea in the FA cup he was fantastic and has a good record of saving penalties.
One of those keepers always destined to be a number 2 I think though!
One thing for sure though as always under these owners, we haven't got a clue what is going on at the top because when fans were expecting a meltdown we have come out in the short future....one player better off

My block is the block who has a problem with marlon king and his lazy/offside style of play! I don't care as long he as he scored but he gets ALOT of stick around me
