sheringham was a fantastic player, very underrated he was a better player than andy cole

Pity the best of them all isn't on the list, rvn, victim of circumstance.

cole was better than sherringham by far

7) Chicharito - But has the potential to be as good as Ole Solskjaer I think
8) Welbeck - But has the potential to be as good/better than Dwight

Rooney and van Persie are world class individuals. Rooney shades it for me though, done more than van Persie. Been doing it since he was 16 and is going to be our all time top scorer by the time he retires.

Special mention to Ruud van Nistelrooy. As good as Rooney and van Persie.

None are as good as Cantona. Henry and Ronaldo are the only forwards who've been as good as him in the premier league. Absolute genius.

RVN doesn't qualify because he was not our striker in 1999.

In fairness Sheringham was pretty much in his peak in 99, none of them were that young. Hernandez and Welbeck both have age on their side.

Cantona was overrated. He was a great leader and had a personality but RVP and Rooney are far better players than Cantona.
