De gea was man of the match which should give you a clue OP! One save was one of the best of the season so why create such a bitter sour grapes thread?? Just praise the lad but as usual you just cannot, and well keep the overhype of players to gooners as you've been doing it for years now

I don't see what's wrong with De Gea saving with his feet... if anything it's better for a keeper to save with his feet because it means that he can get more power behind the ball and therefore clear it further away from the danger area than he would be able to do with his hands.

lmao I used to watch arsenal games and stats when almunia was around and almunia is the worst goalkeeper arsenal ever had. A shot on target for opposition usually was a goal. He had one or two decent games and like 30 poor ones. I am amazed wenger kept him so long. He was big reason why you didn't win stuff like 2006 champions league final he let in 2 soft goals.

When sky said what a save by de gea I thought did he really touch that onto post, and he did, how did he do that, he is like superman I know he is not real but you no what I mean seems like superhuman at saving things. Best goalkeeper in world de gea is at saving shots, buffon comes close and cech as well and hart but de gea is by far best at saving shots that most goalkeepers don't even attempt to save.

Also I remember 1st half he went for a couple of corners one he missed the other he guided it out of play. I like how he tells off his defenders now.

Anyway de gea did his usual performance or be it against a top team who worked him more then he normally gets worked.

These stats say almunia wasn't that bad but he was in better team and a lot of goals he conceded were like so easy to save.
