Quality / Tackles 1970 - Today

When i see the old games I sometimes wish todays football was like that. The quality of play for me was far better than what is today. Honest players proper football played right from the heart.

So here is question number one ... Would you like football to go back to how it was 40 years ago or what it is today... Keeping in mind all the play acting, difference of quality between the two opposing teams etc etc.

and watching the final against Leeds ... My lord there were some hard tackling those days. like they would get one right on the ankle which would be a straight card now adays , and the guys dont even go down... wonder if you put todays lets say barca or Real madrid back in those days they would come out half dead and crying.
