If sunderland, aston villa and spurs

can afford to spend reasonably big and maintain their financial stability then i'm sure arsenal can do the same when we have more financial backing from our various revenue streams. There would be nothing wrong in spending £30 mil max on a quality, proven player. We should be able to spend £50 mil in a transfer market (not every season), all it would do is delay the debt repayment scheme.

we dont really spend very big any more though.

in january we bought peinarr for about 3 mill.

last summer we bought vdv for 8 mill.

before that we got sandro for about the same.

we havent spent a lot of money for a while

Being fair to Spurs, they have a much smaller wage bill that allows big transfer spending while we decided to have squad players like Bendtner and Denilson on bigger wages than Modric.

Arsene simply cannot spend big money on good players and by now you should very well know why OP.

If he were to do that, it would literally "kill" JET, Randal, Merida, Aliadiere, Nordtveit, Barazite...

It will keeel them, haha. Can we not put in the contract of our new players not to kill the younger players?

If the youth is not good enough that surely wenger knows he has no other option. Too many second chances are being granted at this club.

Today was not a very good advert towards cesc, nasri or even mata.

yeah Lexington 125.2 - FREE LUKA with every two purchases of a well known brand of breakfast cereal (see back of packet for details Mr Abramovich) (U8879)

who is ready to commit 'murder' upon the youth. 'killing' players is wrong. Should be a law against it.
