I was chatting to a Rangers fan the other day here in AZ in a pub and of course the conversation turned to the Old Firm and he stated that if Lennon wins 9 in a row it will count for nothing since he is getting at least a 4 league head start due to Rangers Financial troubles.
Now I know we are getting well ahead of ourselves, but I would of thought any team in any league maintaining dominance for 9 years is a great feat. Another point he mentioned was Ranger Financial troubles, did Celtic not have financial troubles during Rangers 9 in a row? How does that differ? A few years Celtic could not even finish second.
I doubt it will happen, but it would deserve recognition.

Celtics 9 in a row under Mr Stein was a legendary and wonderful achievement we also had one of the finest teams in Europe at the time and were competing against possibly Rangers greatest ever side as well.Rangers 9 was bought pure and simple and found Celtic at their lowest ebb for many many years.If Celtic do 9 just now then it will not be anywhere near the achievement of Big Jocks side and not even on a par with Rangers bought 9 as we have NO competition whatsoever.
