Half a magic number GBZ

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, I like the fact that every member of the team so far, is a signed player. Thought over the last season the number (and quality) of Loanees/rent-a-players hurt the chemistry. We might not have a team of world-beaters, but, they are all ours. At least for now. Wonder if SG will keep Loans down to a minimum to help build the team's chemistry this season?

Bates knocked the loanees recently maybe he's told Grayson to reduce reliance on them.

Maybe so Jonty. I actually prefer a team that's built on players who made the choice to sign with us rather than those that are loaned to us. Probably in the minority?

I'm with you on that batty, I think numerous loan players throughout season is disruptive and a false economy.

I'm sure it helps a squad knit together when they know
loanees aren't coming in to take their place. It's going to be one interesting season. If Bates stops his over-promise/under-deliver spouting, this could be a very enjoyable one.
