settle an argument

ok guys nice and easy this one

do we want bellamy?

5 stars for yes

1 star for no

and if reports are to beleived then desmond is paying for the bellamy transfer fee and wages so our transfer funds should remain the way they are

also lenny said after game vs airtricity XI that goalkeeper is priority we should trust him to have a good GK in this week

i am in the yes camp for bellamy we cant turn down quality like that

It annoys me that Desmond seems to only put his hand in his pocket when HE thinks a player is worth it, he should have confidance in our own managers view on a player and give him the money to pick his own players.

Get him in now!!! He's a top quality player, and keeps himself in great shape. He'd be a great addition for a years loan and that could allow Lenny more time to scout out a decent striker for the winter window, seeing that we're only interested in trialists now.

I knew he singed a deal last year but didn't know it was only a years extension.

I dont get the whole hype surrounding Long, last year was his only season he was prolific at at 5.5 million its an expensive gamble

This week West Ham had an £8million bid for Long rejected, despite him being in the last year of his contract. I think a couple of million included add ons. Reading want £8million in cash plus add ons.

Mind you, If Bellamy did come back the Reocrd could make up more guff like the time he started a fight in Glasgow when he was asleep in his hotel room in Inverness

or about how he brought the game down to it's lowest ever ebb by telling one of his fellow professionals that his gardener earned more than him, can't remember which player it was, according to the tabloids it was every footballer he's ever spoken to....

Hernik,

This is what I mean about Reading playing a dangerous game. The player can turn round and say, either accept the bid or get nowt in January.

Of corse the club wants the best bid but, Long has them by the curlies

exactamundo titanic... Long will decide this one, not the club unless they are willing to lose out massively!

pre contract come january, player gets more out of it, club gets hee haw..they sell now or risk it to a pre contract..

I think we would be better advised to go for Long rather than Bellamy.
As posted previously, he hardly played for Cardiff last season, too injury prone and where is he going to play?
