I am going to Wembley

on sunday, hopefully seal a multi million pound deal and win another trophy.

If Brian Kidd had come out and said this was nothing more than a practice match then he'd either be accused of getting the excuses in early or gross arrogance.

I'm going on Sunday but I certainly wouldn't slate anyone for giving it a swerve, when you consider the two recent wembley trips on top of the season tickets for next season, its a lot to cough up in a shirt space of time especially at the moment when everyone has to be careful.Point scoring over it seems very childish,or is it me?

The majority of my mates are going but those who aren't are like me and would rather spend the money on a European away game which will probably be considerably cheaper, more important and safer for their kids.

Still hoping that the work tickets might come my way. Unfortunately a lot of reds in my office and I'm the only blue so likely to have missed out.

could be worse, you could try and score points over the attendance of a parade.

this could have been a good thread into children from both sides throw the toys out of the pram. But please, if you think most of the traffic going to wembley is city you really are deluded. The fact is, Manchester is pretty even but United have to wider support but as time goes on this will change with City's money....it's football! But boy some of you need to grow up a little!

You're right, in my personal opinion, Manchester is pretty even. But we have more a more localised fanbase, and thus more localised season ticket holders (I can show you evidence of this if you wish), yours is much more global, with season ticket holders from all over Britain. In terms of tickets sold for the semi final, they were evenly split between the two clubs, and so, with our more localised fanbase, it is not ridiculous to state that more blues made the journey down the M6, indeed, my own experience was seeing far more City coaches and cars than there were United ones.
