He might have got a couple of run outs in the COCup or against the likes of Cluj!

Probably would have made sense sending him to mid table Championship. Loans to guaranteed relegation battlers are always a waste in my opinion. Like Macheda to QPR.

So that's twice UEFA have screwed us this season

There was some problem with the signing and it wasn't cleared in time.

he was with the squad then and never got picked

I guess he will be farmed out to a Championship side in the summer then. If he can't displace Di Santo, he mustn't be ready for the PL.

he probably is better, but Martinez doesn't want to take the risk with a young player when they (again) are fighting for PL survival. Makes sense IMO to play one of your trusted senior players.

I still don't agree though, would much rather him play weekly for even a Champ side banging in goals for fun

He should never have gone to Wigan on loan as it's proving to be just a massive waste of time.

He should've gone to the U20 Copa America in January instead.
