Great idea, but I'd imagine some football refs would be dead against it as they'd be found out when not giving an answer to a player's question. Likewise with player's swearing at the ref.

There was a trial of it for one game. I think it was an arsenal game....then language was foul.

Yeah, the respect that rugby players give the ref will never be replicated in football so can't see it getting to us anytime soon unfortunately
