Why on earth did T'Rovers bother turning up yesterday, it must surely have been easier to just concede a late goal on Sunday and not have to bother with last nights rather dull performance (if they did preform).
I am in no way sticking up for Steve Kean and his dribble, but why did we not just forfeit the game (as he so politely put it)? I watched the game on the telly last night and the home fans looked ever so slightly ****** off at having the misfortune of going out on a cold night to spend hard earned cash watching some idiots not do their job properly again. It is so sad to see.
Also is the job interview for a manager so simple that the board just say can you stand on the touch line for 90 minutes with your hands behind your back?
You need to be able to show a couple of facial expressions, perplexed, confused and relived, can you do this?
Can you talk complete bull **** after a match?
Excellent you just answered yes to all three, you are now the Blackburn Rovers manager.
I Dont Understand.

What I don't understand is why we kept lumping the ball up to the Millwall defence long after it became clear that it wasn't going to work.
I also don't understand how other teams can make passing look so easy whilst our players make it look incredibly difficult.

We were awful. Completely awful. Long ball, head out by Millwall defender. Pick the ball up, long ball into the box, head out. And repeat. We have reputationally better footballers than Millwall - why can't we pass the ball, run, stretch the play a bit.
T'Rovers are abject at the moment. That was like watching Stoke play on their worst off day.

Each time we appoint a new man we seem to go from bad to worse,,ok i agree wih Appleton tha we do not have th player,,these players together ad tel them to lok for the through ball which would give a team player a much better chance of scoring, and not just try a pop shot at goal from outside the pen area, this has happened all season,Richards,King,Rhodes, and others all look to make a name for theselves,,and to be honest that is why most are here if they were any different they would be playing for there parent club, then we have Mr Tactician Appleton the more games i see from this manager i think that he talks well (blame the players not trying),,but i have to agree against Millwall we started lumping th ball up field and we finished lumping the ball upfield,,ok maybe he has inherited a very bad group of players whch i do think he has,,but i reckon i could use them in a much beter way, rele battle from now on in.
Can anyone see us beating anyone wih this style of play,,i cant..

Credit to Millwall, they were solid defensively. If only we had not kept repeating the same methods that clearly were not working though. It was tragic to watch.
Our season sadly, is well and truly over. Avoid relegation now.

This isn't really head hunting but now that the honeymoon period is over, he doesn't seem to be the right man to take us forward.
That being said, I'm not sure if there even is a right man for Blackburn now.
