virudagreat , RedIndian, Indiasox, Risingstar, Neon and several others. Seriously, and no Wumming please, what the heck is going on here?
It would be nice to hear from Indian fans, who know their cricket, why the series is going like it is going. You have to admit you had complete control of this second test match half way through the second day? Why is it going wrong?
Nige.

To be honest fellas, we are well aware that England won today, and we know about our strengths but I am trying to find out how India can make more of a game of it in the next 2 tests. Do they have anybody else who can come in. I feel that when we get their 3 star batsmen out, it's just too easy to run through the rest of them. Is that guy Raina any good usually? What on earth is Dhoni doing? Scoring ducks, bowling, can't take the ball behind the stumps. All seems chaotic to me.

What would worry me about India is the legends are ageing.
Zhan and Sehwag are becoming injury prone.
Raina and Yuvi don't have half the level of class as other batsmen. What ever happened to Kohli? I thought we was great!

the worrying thing is that the new boys aren't up to much.
who has scored runs on this tour? dravid, laxman and a bit of SRT.
when they go, india go.

i think we can all see that India are going to go the same way as australia after the mass retirement of 2007. the difference, however, is that australia had made no attempt to wean in the fresh blood, which did, and to an extent does, exist; whereas india have tried out some younger players, like mukund and raina, but as topdawg says, they don't seem to be nearly as good as the players that they will have to replace in the not too distant future. Therefore, whereas i am sure that australia will bounce back, and be very strong in a couple of years, india do not seem to have the players or the grassroots organisation to produce generation upon generation of competitive teams. it may appear that this current genaration of great indian players might just be a one off.
This is not to say that i don't want india to bounce back after decline, or simply remain very strong; i very much hope that india continue to compete at the very best level in test cricket, but i have grave concerns over the not too distant future of indian test cricket.
