Just under a month to go before the World Championship in Sheffield, the penultimate ranking event of the season sees the players jet off to the Far East for the China Open.
I won't be putting the scores up on this thread or updating it during the tournament, which runs from 25-31 March, but this is the place to discuss all of the matches in the forthcoming week.

Trump out as well, yet again in the first round of a tournament. I'll be surprised if any bookies make him the favourite next month.

I think Trump just needs to show a bit more match hardness, develop more of a 'B' game to fall back on when he is not firing on all cylinders. Otherwise he will just be another talented potter who didn't truely fulfill his potential.

Mark Selby misses the black in an attempted 147 - absolutely gutted!

I'm not a big fan of Selby, but when any player reaches the final black, I guess you don't really want them to miss.....

Lisowski and Murphy going into a decider in their quarter final, 4-4 at the moment.
Selby hammered Williams 5-1.

Is Mark Selby going to win another tournament this season? Romped to a 6-2 victory over Shaun Murphy to make tomorrow's China Open final.

Robertson manages to take his first ranking title of the season. A timely boost for the WCs.
