In fact yeah I take back my previous judgmental post above, McKeever did have to retire from proffesional football, seriously I apologise for my comments. How different things could have been if he hadnt got injured

It was Billington that had to retire through injury as a youngster.
McKeever actually managed to make a few first team appearences for us but he'd just lost so much from injuries that he never made it, dropped down the leagues & ended up in Non-League, I think!
Shame really & typically our luck!

It says on Wiki that he was forced to retire from playing due to injury in 2009 but did still play semi proffesionally for East Worle FC for a while. He has stopped playing altogher now but is still seen playing 5 a side on Thursday Nights at Priory School. Wiki's a wonderful thing int it!!

Yeah McKeevr just wasnt good enough. Billington was unlucky and had to retire, who knows how good or bad he might have been?

If the good people of the Daily Mail are right then we've no chance with ALF. Leicester are supposed to be sniffing round him and they're about to bid £7M for Shane Long. Oh dear.

There's no way Leicester are interested in ALF, no way at all.
They're already more than equipped with better forwards & if they get Long then that's another!

Monster, I agree with your reasoning if they get Long. But you can't say there's no way at all they're interested, especially if they don't get their main target. I can't see it personally, but you never know.

Le Fondre will be on the radar of several clubs. All goalscorers are. Rotherham know he is going and they (and his agent) will now be touting him about in order to get as much as possible for him.
