Well they haven't really but judging from their performances in the CT, I would imagine they have sealed their place.
Azhar Ali scores in President Trophy: 79, 89, 95*
Asad Shafiq scores in President Trophy: 92*, 57
Also Muhammad Rizwan is WK who scored 83 off 90 deliveries today when his team had collapsed at no7 in a big partnership with Azhar Ali. Hafeez out for 0.
Hammad Azam scored 74* off 61 deliveries the other day and also 66 in a T20.
----
I wouldn't mind Azhar Ali as opener ONLY in England, he would take the shine off the new ball. His SR is a problem but if other players contribute then it isn't a problem at all.
I hope to god the Pakistani management drop Kamran and play Rizwan. He seems he can build an innings, not sure if he can play aggressive though.
Umar Akmal is in awful form, he's hardly contributed anything in this cup and I won't be surprised if he is dropped from the squad altogether!
Thoughts?
Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq seal place for CT
