A Minute's Silence

Derby County are to hold a minute's silence out of respect for the six young Derby fans slaughtered by their feckless so-called "parents" before the match on Saturday.

A DCFC spokesman said:

"The minute's silence will be held in memory of the six children who tragically lost their lives. The club would ask all supporters in attendance at Pride Park on Saturday to join the Rams in remembering Duwayne, Jade, John, Jack, Jesse and Jayden Philpott."

Let's hope that the silence is impeccably observed and that Mick, Mairead and Moseley all die screaming very soon

I was watching the news as their verdicts came on whilst playing with my 3 and 1 year old nephews. Not one single fiber of my being would ever comprehend doing anything that would endanger them. To that end, aj, a bullet would be too quick. It needs to be long and drawn out.

I know Harper I'm just thinking of the most effective and cheapest method of getting rid of that lowlife.
Spare a thought too for Philpotts remaining 11 children. They will never get over this.

Well done DCFC. A terrible appalling story.

On reflection, well done GSE for spotting an opportunity to sell tickets just before the season ticket deadline.

I might be wrong though.

Iwas

I thought that but they wouldn't stoop that low.......surely?

I think it is a gesture for the people of Derby. Whether there is 20K there or 30K it is in respect of those kids. Derby fans. I think it is the least the club can do

I will join in that guys. A minuscule gesture from a dog, but this transcends rivalry.

Iwas , This was what i read on Nick Britten's twitter (Colin Bloomfield re-tweeted it) :

'I'm hearing some idiots are going to disrupt @dcfcofficial 1m silence for Philpott kids at tmrw game v itfc pls don't bother'

When asked where he heard it he put ' DCFCfans around where Philpotts lived. A lot of hatred towards parents, hope sympathy for kids will mean silence ok'
