…as a loan player, anyway.
It seems he’s come to the end of the maximum 93 day loan period, making his last game on Saturday against our woolly neighbours. Let’s hope he goes out in style!

The article says that he will be signing permanently for Ipswich in June, when his contract with The Reds terminates.
I’m not quite sure what he’s going to be doing in the meantime, though. Is he/could he be available for us? Four goals in 12 games in this league is better than some of our current strikers stats! 18 in 25 whilst at Coventry is not too shoddy either!

No.

It's a shame that the stupid rules won't allow him to sign for Ipswich permanently, they want him, we don't, he'll just be twiddling his thumbs until June when he could be playing for Town.

I agree F Al F. It does seem a bit silly not letting him stay there.
Even more silly, though, not to include him back in our squad.
And annoying that we don't seem to have got a fee out of this, as well. Hopefully, our 'loan charge' was a hefty one!

He has already said that whatever happens he don't want to come back.

Where have you seen that, dreddy?.
If it's a question of him not wanting to come back, I hope we are not wanting to pay him for the remaining term of his contract!
