Monday Night Raw

The only thing that the WWE universe ACTUALLY had an effect on was his face turn post-legacy where he was supposed to remain heel and Ted and Cody were to be the faces.

Other than that, all decisions made on his character progression has been planned in the boardroom. Simply because it's done better than Cena's character doesn't change that.

When i say WWE universe i'm not talking about it's fans, i'm revering to it's existence as a subjective reality (i hate WWE's "universe" branding concept).

The Orton character is consistent is what i'm saying, technically his actions are all controlled by his creator but those actions convincingly exist within his universe's paradigm, something i wish WWE had more respect for in general.

Great raw. Crowd and booking was great.

Notice how there was hardly any kids in audience. It was like a large Hammerstein Ballroom

I dunno if anyone else picked up the tone in the chanting was akin to the European football crowd drone? Thought that was interesting, in the same way the 'Lets Go Cena' chants are always noticeably higher pitched than the 'Cena sucks' chants

But on the whole, it just want to show how wrestling always has the failsafe of a great crowd and/or commentary making up for almost anything. That raw could've consisted of two jobbers competing in a 3 hour ironman match and it wouldn't have been bored

Easy solution. Ban kids from attending and cheap beer = Rocking Raw

That crowd was evidence of a fanbase disoriented with the current product.

Orton and Sheamus must have wanted the ring to swallow them up
