What we really don't want....

....is for Newcastle to get relegated.

I'm pretty confident, that just as they did last time they were relegated, they would turn the Championship into a 'one-team show, leaving just the second Automatic Promotion spot up for grabs.

Thoughts at this stage anyone?

If you think we'll be contenders for automatic you need to get real.

We need proper investors and a proper manager before we can think about that.

I'd like Newcastle down because it would at least give us a couple of big games.

Clive - did I say that? Er....no.

My maths also tells me that either way, it's one less spot available for 'potential' promotion.

Finally, since you are not a manager, I'll be making my judgement around August on Promotion chances.

Besides, I've not done too bad in Penshaw's Top Six Challenge the past 3 years......even with my positive outlook on my team.

As for me - I'd like Newcastle to stay up, and MY TEAM - namely Leeds United - to gain promotion.

A lot has changed since we were there 10 years ago, but the sooner we get back, the better for our club.

Clive, you need to get real. Although your posts would be more entertaining if you were Mystic Meg, you actually aren't. You havent got a clue what's going to happen next season. You've written us off before the dust of this season has even settled.

I hope Newcastle get relegated so we can smash em next season.

I'd love to smash them too Orlando....although I would prefer to do it in the Premiership!!

Tbh I thought that Bolton and Blackburn were gonna walk this division, followed by Leicester, Wolves, us (until we signed pompey players) and Birmingham

Reading will get promoted, qpr will and so will Bolton. We've got no chance unless we get big investment, luck and good football

How can anyone not be positive about a manager who want's to rejuvenate this club, it's obviously not guaranteed to succeed, but if you really support the club you should get behind the manager, as there is no reason whatsoever to say he's not good enough.

I am torn between them staying up and going down cause if they go down I will get to see Leeds up here but if they do it would cost my local club loads on match days
