so what do you think chaps, have we got what it takes to win our last 2 games and at least secure 4th place without relying on anything else in way of results?

well... yes

I would have taken this a few weeks back so yes.
we have to play 2 of the 5 worst teams in the Pl, one at home after a cup final they will probably lose and by winning that will probably make Newcastle safe (who recently lost 6 nil at home to Liverpool)
I have a feeling 4 points will do it as I think Stoke will draw with Spurs
either way if Arsenal cannot do enough then they do not deserve it.
a Chelsea win last night would have been more helpful as we could have afforded a draw anyway, but them losing also means we have a (very slight) chance of 3rd still.
now we just wait and see what happens on the weekend as we dont play til Tuesday. It wil be clearer then.

Waiting for the weekend games to be played out before I worry about whether we have the minerals to get 6 points from the last two games.
However, the run we are on at the moment started after we had a 10 day break after the Spurs fixture. We came back refreshed and looking far better defensively. Last couple of games we have began to show signs of tiredness or pressure getting to us. Hopefully this break will have the same effect as the previous one.

Lets not forget that we're playing Wigan and Mike Dean at home next week ! Is this a deliberate ploy by the Prem League to assist the Totts ?
